PEACE RIVER LOGGING IN NORTHWEST ALBERTA
In partnership with the Woodland Cree First Nation, Peace River Logging is committed to creating economic opportunities for Indigenous populations in Northwest Alberta and surrounding communities. We proudly provide tree-length and cut-to-length procurement services for sawmills and pulp mills across Northwest Alberta.
During the peak of our winter season, Peace River Logging employs approximately 80 individuals and contractors specializing in harvesting, loading, hauling, road maintenance, road construction, pulp mill landfill and yard maintenance operations throughout Northwestern Alberta. Our primary operations include harvesting cut-to-length hardwood for Mercer Peace River Pulp Ltd. in Peace River, AB, and supplying tree-length sawlogs to Boucher Bros sawmill in Nampa, AB. Additionally, we manage cut-to-length and tree-length logging for West Fraser, La Crete Sawmills, and Tolko Industries.
